Well, I am getting ready for school to start on Monday. Wow! Time has sure flown fast! This week has gone by faster than any. I don't know why, but I am very nervous about this semester. In a way, I feel like I am just starting in school again.

Weigh-In after week one: 4.4 pounds gone!

I took a little hiatus to regroup my thoughts and actions. While doing this, I decided that I would attend CES 2005. I saw a few new things, but overall, I was actually a little disappointed. No real INNOVATION. A lot of improvement on existing technology, though.

Back on track again, I went and joined Weight Watchers again. Haven't been a member for over 15 years, but I need to lose weight. I am tired of feeling tired. And I need energy to compete with the 20-somethings that are in my classes at CSUS with me. I have been on plan 100% since starting (It was just last Wed). And I joined 24 Hour Fitness. Even just the little exercise I am doing (30 minutes/day) is making a difference. Yeah, I am sore, since I haven't exercised in... forever. But I feel better.

Well, I sucked this last semester. I didn't realize how stressed I still was about Rory's death when I started back. And then I was deployed to Florida due to the hurricanes. In hindsight, I should not have gone. I think I could have done ok without going, but the need was so great out there, and many people didn't go that were asked. I really felt I needed to go.

My grades... well, O-Chem II - F... got a D in O-Chem Lab. Took my GPA below 2 for the semester. Ick. Guess I am on probation for the semester. I'd better ace my classes!
