Round 3 of the storms and flooding is today

Now the bad news:

Here is the current weather at my house(Note the wind speed... that is SUSTAINED WINDS... It is gusting over 50 MPH):














Remember the pic of the firetruck blocking Walerga Road yesterday? It seems a local 16 year old tried to go down Walerga in her pickup. Didn't make it far, and they needed to rescue her with a helicopter from Sac Metro Fire.

Walerga Road was closed still at 9am... Guess they figured out after the 16 year old got past, that they'd better put out more than a firetruck (Hey, the firetruck convinced me not to go past!), so the signs and barricades went up.


It is now reopened. It will probably flood again later today.
