Sayre Fire

For my family and friends: I don't know if I will be deployed to this fire or not. I do expect a call sometime today asking for my availability to deploy. I will keep you up to date as I know more.

Current freeway closures. The fire has jumped the I-5.

The Sayre fire is over 2,500 acres now, and is in Angeles National Forest as well as burning in Sylmar proper. Newhall pass is shut down (I-5), the 210 freeway, and the 14 (Antelope Freeway) is also shut down.
