Cucumber Salad

4 Cucumbers
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Pepper
1/4 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Vinegar

Slice cucumbers thin. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix together and let stand 1/2 hour. Squeeze through cloth to remove excess liquid. Put back in bowl. Mix in sugar and vinegar. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

Variation: Add sour cream.
