Pennsylvanian Escalloped Corn

2 - 10 oz Pkgs Frozen Cream Style Corn (or a 17 oz. can)
1/2 C. Milk
1/4 C. Butter or margerine
1-1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Egg, well beaten
1-1/2 C. Soft Bread or Cracker Crumbs
2 Tbsp Minced Onion
3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Butter or Margerine

In a pan, combine corn, 1/4 C. butter, milk, and salt. Bring to simmer. Cook until corn is just tender. Then blend in egg, crumbs, onion, and sugar. Turn mixture into buttered casserole dish. Dot with 2 Tbsp butter and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until lightly brown.
