Colors not "Vibrant" enough This idea is from "duffy" on the TabletPCBuzz.com forum:
"Hey guys, I noticed that on my tc4200 the display colors were quite
warm. Almost to the point of being brown. I noticed this trait on
another tc4200, and I read a review that mentioned the warm bias. I
tried Monitor Calibration Wizard but it didn't do much. I went to the
Display properties and tweaked the individual color settings. What I
came up with is a good start and looks much better than what I started
with. Give these settings a try and maybe we can come up with some
better ones.
1. Open the Intel GMA Driver Control Panel.
2. Select the Color tab
3. Select the color Red radio button then move the brightness slider to
-18.
4. Select the color Green radio button then move the brightness slider
to -12.
5. Select the color Blue radio button then move the brightness slider
to 30.
6. Select Apply and you'll see a significant change. Whites will look
white instead of brown. :)
7. If you like it or want to save it to tinker some more click on Save
as Scheme. Name the color scheme.
Tinker around with the settings and let us know what you come up with.
Have fun."
Note: We tried this, and it WORKS! Looks like it doesn't seem to affect
battery life much, either. Way to go, duffy!
